Administrative Core

The KVI administrative core is responsible for the organizational aspects of the KVI.   This includes the coordination of workshops, training programs and short courses for public attendance and the sponsoring of scientific meetings and symposia. It will also work on securing funding for the support of pilot projects whose objectives are the identification of new vaccine targets against human and animal pathogens.  Currently, one core, the Immunology Core Laboratory, is supported by the KVI, however, other cores at various sites around the state are planned in the future.  The overall structure of the KVI is shown below.
